Globepointer/Gloobit Maps Terms of Use

Gloobit Maps map information

The information that has been offered in the Gloobit Maps map program has been meant merely for planning purposes. The road conditions may differ from the map results because of weather, building projects, traffic conditions or other events.

Gloobit Maps uses in its name practices and in its map practices international standards that have been generally recognised. For example in the naming of the countries and areas a ISO-3166 standard is primarily followed, which the statistics office of the UN has approved.

The user may neither remove nor change in any way in the map informations, even in photographs existing, copyright signs, trademarks or other ownership notations.

Gloobit Maps map contents geocoding data is published with permission of Tele Atlas a Dutch, corporation(a link) .and/or other outside quarters (a link), and the copyrights protection and other copyrights concerning them, which Tele Atlas a Dutch corporation .and/or other external quarters of this kind own or have an operation permit on. Conditions of the licence contract are adapted Into the use of the material .

The user can fall in the liability for unlicensed copying or exposure of the material, and by using Gloobit Maps the user accepts the fact that Tele Atlas a Dutch corporation .and/or other contracting parties of the map contents are the external beneficiaries of this agreement.

The user must not use Gloobit Maps in vehicle-installed or to them otherwise attached or connected products, systems or applications in which there is readiness to the navigation, positioning, sending of the vehicle, to real-time route control, to the control of the vehicle stock or to similar applications, if Gloobit Ltd has not given the user special permission.

Gloobit Maps must not be used in a way which gives the user or another individual an opportunity to the mass and/or. group downloading of the digital width co-ordinates and length co-ordinates.

Globepointer/Gloobit Maps Terms of use

By using Globepointer/Gloobit Maps service or any information that has been received through them the user commits himself to follow Globepointer/Gloobit Maps terms of use and other following conditions. The private persons are given Globepointer/Gloobit Maps only for personal, other than commercial use. The businesses and communities are given Globepointer/Gloobit Maps only for internal use and must not be commercially distributed.

Contents offered by the external parties

Globepointer/Gloobit Maps contains the information delivered by the external parties. The producer of the Globepointer/Gloobit Maps service is not responsible for the exactness or scope of the information delivered by the external parties. Additional conditions which have been presented on the Legal notifications page (a link) may be connected to use of the contents offered by the external parties.

Photograph material

Photograph material which is possibly presented via Globepointer/Gloobit Maps is offered only for the user's use with a non-exclusive licence, which cannot be moved forward. The user may neither use photographs in the commercial or business environment, nor for the commercial or business purposes of the user himself or of the external party.

The user may not fully or partly copy the photograph material, break down it into parts or software code, dissolve, translate or convert photograph material or make by-products of it. The user must not rent, expose, publish, sell, give up, lease, market or move the photograph material nor use it in any way to which permission has not been specifically given in this agreement.

The Globepointer/Gloobit Maps user does not get any ownership rights to the photographs by using the service. All their ownership rights are preserved by Gloobit Ltd and/or possible givers of its operation permit. The photograph material is copyright protected and it must not be copied even converted or merged into other information or software.

Information of the public traffic :

The possible information of the public traffic contained by Globepointer/Gloobit Maps contains the information delivered by the external parties, which has been meant merely for the planning purposes. Globepointer/Gloobit Maps is not responsible for the exactness or scope of this information.
